Thank you to all of the staff at KU Med. They took great care of my mother and were all extremely nice and courteous to me and all of the family. They are the best!
This school refuses to educate their students and faculty on polite parking. The result is that students and faculty constantly create a nuisance, and often create dangerous situations with their rude, inconsiderate parking. Any other business would be required to provide enough parking for their patrons. The schools refusal to educate, and their serious lack of parking makes the University of Kansas Medical Center, a bad neighbor.
I waited over 5 months for this appointment in the Rhumetology Dept. The doctor basically told me I was a statistic and probably wouldn't be able to offer me a solution, or diagnosis. I felt heartbroken. I can hardly function some days. I know something isn't right with me. I know feeling as sick as I do at times is not normal for a 33 year old woman. I want and need help! Emergency Room - We waited in the ER waiting room for nine hours before seeing a doctor. Unfortunately this isn't the first time we have been here so long.
For the most part they are ok. What I hate is their ER and the service you get there. I understand they are busy and have patients come in and out but if you want to say you are the best in the area then you should be in all areas. The personell including nurses and doctors tend to be rude and never listen to you when you tell them what is wrong. Maybe if its too stressful you shouldn't be working in that type of environment. This is my first visit to The University of Kansas Medical Center.My husband had to have 2 medical procedures and from the time we walked through those doors we have been treated very well from the lady who checked us in to the doctors and nurses and everyone that we've come in contact with have shown nothing but compassion . I just want to thank you all for your hard work and your kindness in my husband's recovery may God bless each and everyone of you
