I went to my regular Dr appt and had a blood pressure of 78/48....needless to say I didn't actually finish that appt as the ER nurses came and got me and I was admitted right into the hospital. I was in the hospital for a week and had the best nurses and techs ever. Not that anyone ever really likes their stay in the hospital but mine wasn't so bad.
ER Dr Bradley Jackson is rude and arrogant. I received no care after I told him my chest pains were better but the other symptoms were worse. I was not give any xray results or test results. Nor any discharge papers. Dr. Bradley Jackson complained about me to other employees in the hall.
The floor levels are confusing. The skywalk from the parking garage is on level 2, which is the same as level 1 in the main building. So coming from Endoscopy, I took the elevator to level one, thinking that is street level. It is Not! Just confusing. And patient pickup area is dangerously crowded. Facility is clean, staff are friendly, professional and efficient.
BOOM!!! Five months cancer FREE!!! TY Dr. Mirza and my cancer support team!!!
Excellent standard of care. Decent services without being expensive in the public facilities. Awesome communication by all of the staff. Everyone has been helpful and compassionate. Only discomforts have to do with electrical access for recharging devices. Small inconvenience. Overall still a five star hospital.
I just had to tell everyone that the level of care we have gotten so far here at KU is outstanding. Everyone from the room service delivery to the doctors, the people who take him for the biopsies to the housekeeping staff. Just outstanding. Friendly, efficient, patient, caring and our favorite- they all have a good sense of humor. I just had to tell everyone how happy we are.
Our medical system is a joke!!!! Took mother-in-law to Neurosurgeon at KU MED... we will have driven 2 hours, waited 2 hours and the saw Dr. for 2 minutes!!!! Oh yes... I timed it.... 2min!!!!
