The Hospital is ok but go through the emergency room is horrible the nurses treat you like your a piece of shit my son was in a car wreak he asked them to call his mom and Step dad they told him no and that pisses me off they took him into surgery without letting anybody in the family no what if he died I just don't understand why they didn't call me not a happy Mom
I have been with KU since 2014. I have about 10 doctors with them and they are all amazing. KU medical staff have literally saved my life when I had a PE. They quickly got it diagnosed and got me on blood thinners. I have been hospitalized several times and been on several different floors. I have never been mistreated by anyone! Thank KU for being so amazing and helping me have a better life for my babies.
No organization. 4 people asking same exact questions, setting in a room for 2 hrs. No mention they needed medical records when it would have answered most of the questions. Seem to be clueless as to why we were there. NEVER WANT TO GO BACK.
Dr. Kimberly Swan and her team were all FAAAAAABULOUS. Amazing bedside manners, kind and considerate, friendly and INFORMATIVE. They made me feel extremely comfy the entire time. I also love how they immediately followed up with my the next morning when I was home home. Two thumbs wayyyyyy, WAYYYYYY UP!!!

I'm currently still staying at KU Med with my husband who is currently in the Burn Unit. The nurses and staff on this floor are AMAZING (Crystal, Bobbie, Beth, and Ms. Amy G.) has took great care of my husband and i have to mention the cafeteria staff what an amazing group of people and kind as can be! I also want to mention the lady I didn't catch her name but worked in the gift shop downstairs!
