All the staff was great. Made me feel at ease and understand all that was going. Will recommend to anyone needing to have any medical procedure done.
Attended my first discussion regarding a possible cochlear implant. I got in at my designated time and had testing done. They took time to explain the procedure and told me I qualified. Talked with the surgeon and got all the information and answers. The parking was easy to locate and get in and out. For such a large facility was impressed.
Arrived in time for my mother's 9:00 am surgery. At 1:20 they finally took her to pre-op. The following day I called to get her room number and she doesn't have a room, the hospital is busting at the seams. Everyone I encountered that works at the hospital was extremely nice and very helpful. I was given a voucher for lunch because of waiting for mom's surgery so long. I feel they give very good care, just very overwhelmed with a too heavy of a load.
I like that the specialist and Doctors spoke "with" me and not "to" me. Were genuinely interested in my opinion of what the problem with my health was before moving on with treatment. Parking in parking garages is much better than the large parking lots I've experienced at other large hospital complexes in the past.
From day one of my consult for breast reduction surgery, to being released after surgery was complete, the staff at KU Plastic Surgery were amazing. Everyone was so kind and professional, and after each appointment I left knowing this was the best decision I have made. I had my surgery yesterday, and everyone at the Indian Creek Campus was incredible. They kept my husband informed of everything going on, which made it easy for him to pass info along to our family.
