I absolutely adore and love Iowa University of Hospitals and Clinics! Their staff is amazing and their wealth of knowledge is astounding! My son has been going there for 5 years and they will drop anything for you to help, educate and support us at any moment! I honestly could not recommend a better hospital for our family or any family! Just really amazing people!!
Words fail to express the gratitude and admiration I have for UIHC- Children's Hospital. My 12 year old son had numerous cardiac procedures including 3 surgeries prior to his 3rd birthday. Thank you for saving his life. Changing medicine....changing MY life. ❤️
BEWARE of Dr. Patrick William Hitchon. When I was young he DESTROYED MY LIFE. He lied to me and my family about his causing my paralysis. He is a wicked, arrogant man who belongs in PRISON.
All the staff from the receptionists to the doctors were very caring, helpful and willing to listen. My daughter had an appointment to see the immunologist. Once we discussed the issues with Dr Bayer's, she believed it was important for us to see the pediatric neurologist and infectious disease Dr as well. Dr Bayers took the time to talk with me and with my daughter. The doctors and nurses are very compassionate and show they put your child needs first. .
Our daughter stayed here for 2 months in 2013. The staff was amazing! Being such a young parent, they never made you feel stupid for asking certain questions! Wonderful place!
My 10 month old son had to have surgery at U of I children's hospital. Even though it was a very routine surgery I was still extremely nervous, he's my baby. During the entire procedure I never did not know where he was or what was happening. Everyone from the doctors to the nurses to the receptionists made sure we were comfortable, knew who they were, and where they were going. I can't even begin to tell you how much we appreciate every person we encountered that day. Thank you!
Dr. Kathleen McDonough, Dr. Ben Landgraf, and nurse Melissa- the care you provided my son and our family was nothing short of amazing. Im not discrediting any of the other Dr's, specialists or nurses but these 3 went above and beyond and truly made our not so desirable stay as best as it could be! We thank you from the very bottom of our hearts! Thank you so much!
