I think the staff is great and worked well with my daughter to make her feel comfortable.
My son recently had surgery to repair his hyposadias at UI Children's Hospital. Dr.Douglas Storm was his pediatric urologist. I can't begin to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr.Storm. I have emailed him several times as we had a few hiccups with recovery and within a few hours Dr.Storm emailed me back answering my questions and concerns. As a first time Mommy it is so hard to see your baby in any sort of pain. Having such a good doctor and him team helping support me in this process has ment so much to me. Thanks Dr.Storm! I've always had an amazing experience with how they treated us and my baby. They are very friendly and truly care about your well being. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. :)
My granddaughter has had the best doctors & nurses...she has been battling ITP since May...and they have been just wonderful in trying to find the best way to treat her to get her platelet numbers up...check in personnel..schedulers...all have been gracious in the manner of treating our girl...as a grandma it breaks my heart that she is going through this...and her doctors & nurses know that of me too...even valet parking personnel are great�������
My son had an outpatient procedure yesterday. Everything went smoothly. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Thankful we have such a great Hospital close by.

If it had not been for U of I my daughter would not have been diagnosed with Pitt-Hopkins syndrome. It took 15 years, having lived in a few states, and moving back to Iowa and the diagnosis was made.
I was transfered to Iowa City due to complications in my pregnancy. They were super nice and caring. My son was born 8 weeks early and was in the NICU. He and I were well taking care of there. We loved the staff he had.
