My son jacoby has been seen at U of I since he was 8months old. Now 15 he has NF1 diagnosed years ago but sees endocrine. Neurology. Genetics. And has in past seen many more. We love it out there. Everyone is amazing
Best care and amazing staff. Always there for morning calls/ night calls - whenever. The nurses followed up with us after the doctors did rounds too. Couldn't ask for better care for our son after being brought in by helicopter 2 hours after birth.
I owe so much of my life to this hospital. Thankful for the amazing people at this hospital that will forever hold a place in my heart.
Laila (kid captain 2015) had been home for two weeks with weakness due to Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis. Started an episode caused from the shift of electrolytes in her cells. They were short on beds so we were told to come to the clinic. They hooked her up and had her meds running while we waited for a room. We ended up getting a room on 3JCP , which is where she normally stays. Amazing nurses!!
Everyone was very good to my son. I could not have asked for better nurses and doctors. Thank you for everything that you have done for him!
