Stopped by the Westside satellite clinic on Saturday with orders for an Ultrasound. I was told "No Sono's were working on Saturday." The very courteous & professional receptionist then called the main hospital & was also told "No Sono's were on duty. I would have to call on Monday for an appointment." Would have liked to have completed my sonogram on Saturday while I was at the clinic. Please consider hiring a Sonographer for Saturdays at the Westside Clinic. The staff in the ASU and ICU department are phenomenal. I have nothing but great things to say about these departments. Had it not been for them, my wife would not be here today. Once the CEO and CFO found out my wife was in the ICU they checked in on us. I can’t say how great that made me feel. As an employee they made me feel like family. Priceless...
I have only good things to say about the staff at UMC. Everyone was extremely kind and caring during my hospital stay. Very professional. I would choose this hospital over Providence any day of the week. I knew I waas in good hands at UMC. The ladies that work in ambulatory surgery are AMAZING. (Norma Jacquez was so great!). The only complaint I have is the food was lacking...Just kind of dry and bland. Thanks to everyone there who took care of me.
I am 77 years old. I do not recall a more frustrating, non-communicative, experience that I have had the last 18 months. I have changed insurance company so I no longer have to be involved with this organization.
