The staff is too busy having social hour instead of assisting patients. Been here over 3 hours and nothing as of yet.
RecommendedCame UMC emergency room with a stroke. They quickly accessed my condition and ordered a ct scan. I’m fully satisfied I got the best treatment from a caring team of professionals.
UMC is the absolute best hospital in this region! from emergency room personnell, radiology Dept, Cath Lab and all the outstanding nurses and support personnell, the care I've received has been life saving as well as life changing! I am grateful to have a world class teaching hospital I can count on.
The nurse was incredibly rude to me. Jaqueline MCCoy. Said I didn't have anything after seeing my x-ray. She made a strange question if I was anxious and needed meds on that. I told her that a doctor at a UMC clinic was concerned that I had pneumonia and urged me to go to the hospital for an x-ray. So, my 'anxiety' is justified. She asked a series of questions. Great Service and Quality Care!
I wouldn't even know where to begin. They basically ruined my brother-in-law's life. To this day (4 years after being treated at UMC) he's dealing with the negligence of one particular doctor who decided to play God with his life. He's had to visit doctors in Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Denver and all of them have told him they cannot fix what this idiot with a medical degree did to him. Now he's at risk of dying from peritonitis. And UMC claims no responsibility. Never has, never will.
They are taking good care of my father, Dionicio Jaime.
They have a ways to grow in the lower leadership positions... Lots of training will be required to make it a smoother operation.
