I just spent the day working with the Out Patient Mammo staff and Foundation staff for the Free Mammogram Day. It was amazing. Wonderful follow through by patients. Amazing caring staff. And I was able to help women access free mammograms through the Care for Yourself program.

I was VERY happy with my visit to the ER on Tuesday 7/18/17. I was so sick of the doctors at McFarland clinic not listening to me and my symptoms for a MONTH. I was so miserable, so I said, "Well, I guess I can't get any worse treatment than I'm getting" So, I sucked it up and went to Unity Point ER. They got me in a room fairly quickly, and immediately tried calming my nausea and asked different questions that the McFarland Clinic doctors didn't ask me the 2 times I went there. There should be someone at the front desk at the ER at all times. No one should have to wait (when there's no one ahead if you) with a screaming baby wondering if anyone if anyone is going to assess your child. They should also have a sense of urgency and try to get through the motions as quickly as possible...especially when they've already announced that they aren't busy at the moment. Not satisfied.
