After having a mass removed from a heart valve months went by with bad side effects to the medication. Give it time to adjust they said, to the point I couldn't stand any more. I thank God my surgeon recommended Dr. Bhalla at Gill Heart Institute which has done more for me in just ONE visit than they at home has done since my surgery. I have been going there for 5 or 6 years now they have always been nice to me and the doctor I see is excellent. If I have to have my type B aortic operation that is where I want it done at if everything goes well!!! ��
I have been dealing with Gill Heart for about 4 years now and I haven't had any trouble at all with them. Dr. Rajagopalen stays on me to make sure I'm doing what I have to do to stay as healthy as possible...I appreciate him for that, to me it shows he cares. I always receive great care from them.
I was born with a CHD so I'm use to seeing Drs who shall we say have big heads or know nothing. However, this isn't the case @ Gill Heart. It really is all about you and making you feel good. As an adult, that's rare and very comforting especially since there aren't a whole lot of adults with my CHD. Dr. Leventhal is my cardiologist and I couldn't have asked for a better one. He's very knowledgeable as he actually did 2 residencies and he's really willing to explore options.
