I when to UAB Highland because my pressure was high stayed to the ER and it was pleasant. They shipped me to the West Pavilion and I am sharing a room with someone the worst experience ever.
RecommendedI was airlifted to UAB post MVA towards the end of January as a trauma 1/trauma 2 patient, over the next 2.5 weeks I was in ICU and step down floor in the trauma center, though I do not remember the wreck or my hospital stay because of my numerous life threatening injuries per my family and friends all of the staff was great and literally life saving. RecommendedFrom the moment we entered and was greeted by the security guard, our visit was the best we've ever experienced out of all ER's in the Bham area! My son was doubled over crying in the floor, vomiting and screaming in pain, and they immediately triaged him and got us back to a room. They apologized for the wait of 20 minutes!! We've waited hours upon hours at other places. He was quickly seen and tested and given an IV, zofran, and pains meds for a large Kidney stone! RecommendedThe friendly staff is the main thing. The are knowledgeable and willingly answer all the questions that I have about my wife’s treatment. The Hospital is very clean.
RecommendedOur insurance company UNITED HEALTHCARE & UAB can not seem to come to terms about continuing to accept our ins after July 31, 2019....We can not change to BCBS til January 2020....UAB is the only place that offers drs to treat the rare cancer my husband has. ALSO UAB has the only drs that can treat my sons stomach condition....
RecommendedThis is great hospital had two granddaughters born here.Now two great grandson here.They have great doctors and nurses.They took care of everyone.Any mother should come here.They will protect your baby.
