RecommendedMy husbands mother had a severe stroke and had fallen. She was admitted to UAB hospital on Monday May 27th. After finding out that she most likely would not recover from her injures. She was moved to the Pallative Care Unit. The staff there made sure she was comfortable and clean. They were absolutely amazing with her and our family. I never wish this on anyone but if a family member is ever in this way and has to go there, just know that’s where I would want my family member. I paid my copayment($50) plus $25 at my November appointment and was told my bill would be $46 and they would bill me for the $46. I received a $162 bill and have called monthly since December trying to get them to fix my bill. I received my collection notice for $152. They refuse to return calls and when you get someone they send you to someone else who does not return calls. Very disappointed in billing with this establishment!
