I received great service here, but honestly I rarely have anything to complain about when dealing with UAB.
It was nice. Love were fhe parking was. My daughter had a New Years baby..cutie
UAB has the best nurses and doctors! They treat you like an actual human being. We have not met one mean or negative person this whole time (2 months) and I'm certain if it weren't for UAB our grand Daughter wouldn't be alive today.
The interaction with the unit secretary, nurse assigned to my niece was wayyyyy past rude!!!! It's unnecessary for you to be anything other than understanding when your working in a hospital setting such as LABOR AND DELIVERY!!! It's not what you say but HOW you say it that will determine the proper bedside manners! A family member asked for a cup of ice and the nurse was less than thrilled or helpful to give a cup of ice! Everything was amazing, from the quality of care that was received and attitudes of the employees to the cleanliness and amenities of the facility. I labored for at least 20+ hours before having a c-section where my child was in shock.when born and cared for in their regional, state of the arc, NICU. The nurses and doctors where absolutely wonderful and very helpful in answering questions and providing support through this trying time.
