This place is always a 5 star experience for me, from the front desk staff to the medical staff, I've been treated with compassion and professionalism. I've had maternity care with one of my children here and it exceeded my expectations. I've had a successful VBAC under their care; being truly listened to, supported and valued as a patient were definitely factors in that happening. I plan to always go here for OB/GYN care.
We were surrounded by great doctors and nurses! Wonderful experience with the delivery of our newest addition.
(This review is from 9 months ago.) The only good things are that they are breastfeeding friendly, have nice nurses and good food. If you plan on crossing state lines with a midwife and you go to 42 weeks and have to have an OB confirm continued wellness, it is absolutely imperative that you see one they personally recommend. Do NOT come here for that because you will be made to get induced just because. My midwives don't recommend induction unless necessary so LOTS of thei...Continue Reading
I had a complete hysterectomy on April 6th and the hospital is nice, the room I was in was set up very nice had a mini fridge, blue ray player, very roomy ,and all the doctors and staffwho were involved with my surgery and care plan were great. I just stayed over night but I would recommend UAB to everyone.
