RecommendedGood place friendly and competent
I do not recommend their Freestanding ER in Gardendale. I went tonight and all the doctor did was throw a muscle relaxer at me and did a urinalysis and sent me on my way. Did not do any blood work, ct scan....etc. I was told that she just couldn’t possibly think of anything else it would be. I expressed my complaint to the nurse who discharged me. I ended up having to go to another ER and found out that I have a kidney stone. I recommend going somewhere else.
Recommendeduab saved my daughters life they did alot at rnicu for her im so glade to say that uab is the reason i have hope my daughter went home a happy heathy baby only 9 days after she was admited they worked their magic to gwt my bbyg home thanks to all the drs at uab an tge nursesnot to say she had favorites but shes loved nurse katie thanks so much katie for admitting her an taking time with her all tge other nurses to i wanna thank yall for being patient an taking your time with her i love the staff at uab i would so recommended

RecommendedUAB Highlands is the BEST! The nursing staff the attention to detail and the kindness was so appreciated. Thank you nurses and techs on 5th floor and Nurse Beverly in same day surgery your the best! I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff and a Special Thank You to Dr Ellington your AWESOME!
RecommendedI was treated at UAB Highlands and UAB Radiology and I would personally like to thank everyone involved in my treatment. Everyone was so friendly and compassionate. They were professional and went above and beyond to explain any question I had. I dealt more with UAB Radiology this trip and felt so much caring from everyone. The ladies at the front desk to Willie the valet driver. Dr Burnett and his staff were absolutely amazing. And my tech Shanna was so awesome. I can't thank everyone enough.
