Highly disappointed. How do you forget to feed a patient suffering from COVID? There is no excuse for not providing a meal to a patient until 10pm. This is not acceptable.
What do they do all day??? They sure don't see patients!! myself & many others sat all day in a lobby for zero reason!! When u go by ambulance you get seen but it cost more! Forget this hospital its awful!!!
My HUSBAND is here for open heart surgery. I am not allowed in the preoperative room with him so the last time I see my husband could very well have been in a WAITING ROOM before a 6-8 hour surgery. This also does not afford me the opportunity, as his caregiver, to speak to the anesthesiologist and surgeon before surgery this morning. This is not what I was led to believe at all. Oh, and now I'm sitting in the waiting room, in tears, no one around me within a good 20 feet, and a nurse has the indecency to come up and ask me ... read more

This hospital is excellent. I stayed here on the seizure monitoring floor in February 2020 and the nurses and staff were excellent. I saw Dr. VerHoef and Dr. Litton. Both were excellent. Very short wait time to be admitted. The food is actually pretty good too. Overall, a great hospital. If I had to stay in a hospital again, I would pick UAB if I could.
Abusive staff on the 5th floor in PACU of the North Pavillion, one in particular by the name of Marilyn.
