I shouldve known better when I walked into the storage area of the u haul self storage and truck rental business and almost ALL of the units had locks on them as if the bill was passed due. I had a terrible experience for returned my van, this was a lie. I picked up the cargo van at 1:01pm 12/20/2022 and returned it at 9:19am 12/21/2022. I was charged a second rental fee based on their contract term. Advertised price being $***** a day. I recently rented a box truck to move some appliances. Unfortunately theres ******* included with a 10 truck that is supposed to be able to fit a studio up to a 1 bedroom apartment. How does anyone move a whole apartment without a ramp? Anyway theres no refund for making a mistake, buyer beware lol. I just think Uhaul needs to include a ramp with any truck and official company line is not helpful! I hope no one else has stupidly rented a 10 truck thinking, of course theres a ramp ?? smdh.

Reserved truck in my town, literally only moving 3 miles down the road. Go to do pre check-in online and reservation has changed to a town 30 minutes away. I'm not driving an extra hour of my day And paying 30 miles extra in mileage. I'll be making extra trips in a pickup truck and just using Penske next time.

We purchased a large quantity of boxes and paid to have them delivered to our apartment on the third floor. The whole reason for having them delivered was due to me being a disabled veteran with bad back issues. We received an email with a picture showing that the boxes were delivered but were placed underneath a staircase. Not only did they not deliver the boxes to my apartment, which I paid for, they had places the boxes on the first floor on the completely opposite side of the building. My car broke down in front of the Uhaul dealership on *********** in **********. The manager ******* went out of his way to help move it till it was eventually towed off the lot. ***** as the tow truck driver was not able to take my friend and I back to ******. Turned out he and his partner were going to ********* so we got a ride to a friend's house and then made it back to Woodstock and then back to ******. The truck rental size was available online. Only to find out the day I was picking it up that there was a mistake, and I had to downgrade the size. I was promised a credit that was never received on top of this. I paid the tolls via my iPass account. I called to let them know I paid the tolls. However, they proceeded to bill my credit card a week later for the tolls. I received proof from the secretary of state that the tolls were paid, but I could not submit a complaint or refund from Uhaul.

Rented a truck online to pick up at an official UHaul location. The day before, I get a call from UHaul traffic division stating I had to pick it up at a different location. I pay $20 for a Lyft to get there and find out it is not an official UHaul but some middle-of-nowhere affiliate location that was closed and no one on site to assist. I went to their website and chose a two and from destination as well as the date I wanted to use their services. I called the location the next day and asked for a trailer opposed to the truck that I had ordered initially. when I spoke to the man who work there at the location he asked where I was picking up from and before I can even tell him anything he specifically told me where I was dropping off the truck according to the information I put in the system.
