One of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They know locations are scamming customers and do nothing about it but tell the customer srv agents to handle it. We are the punching bags for Uhaul

Schedule an appointment to have a receiver hitch installed, charged us extra to receive in in before our trip. They didn’t receive the hitch in time, never called and won’t call or answer their phone.. Tried several times to contact them And even called costumer service.. still no contact about installing the hitch. Not the way you do Business

We rented a 26' truck on the June 12th. They were super busy and never once told us to inspect the truck before we left. We got to the house and there was a oil stain inside the truck and the truck was only filled at a half a tank. When were headed to our destination and I want they had wrong we get a text to do a walk around. So we call uhual to leave our complaint. In the past I have always used U-haul for my moving needs. This time I am making a move across country so in attempt to make my move simpler I decided to utilize U-Haul Boxes. Ideally, U-Haul boxes are supposed to be leveraged like Pods, where U-Haul drops them off at your location, they pick them up and then ship them to your designated destination. The service here was poor. I tried to remotely rent a truck according to UHaul instructions, where the process makes the vehicle ready to drive off. I had opted for no insurance whatsoever. When I arrived, a glitch in accessing the system remotely ( to avoid counter wait) forced me to go inside to a representative. I reserved a truck in NYC and got several confirmations for the location I picked. On the day before my move I reserved a confirmation for 40 minutes away from my original request. 2 hours of calls later to multiple Uhaul regions (and several rude and uncaring reps later), I finally got a wonderful rep who found me a truck my family could pick up.
