I put off doing my hernia surgery for over a year because I didnt want a foreign substance (mesh) in my body, Ive heard a lot of horror stories in regards to mesh. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The staff are amazing and professional, building is clean. I was made comfortable and assured. We did our research and we are so glad we did. Everyone at U First Health was very helpful and professional. We were treated with respect and warmth. Words don't describe the gratitude I have for dr. T. and his team. For close to two and a half years I have been feeling pain, uncomfortableness, and irritation from the mesh implanted in me. When I called to complain about my worries to my doctors office they brushed me off saying that if I was pooping there can't be anything going on wrong. Dr T. listened , asked me what my objectives were and did his utmost to treat my issues. He is kind and honest. God bless this office.
I needed an umbilical hernia repair but didn't want to get the mesh and the possible problems associated with it. I saw the ad on tv for the Desarda technique and called UFirst. I spoke to BJ who educated me on the process and directed me to do my own research which I did. All reviews were positive. At first when I was spending the time to research who I wanted to do my surgery, I was turned off by a website that appeared to be very novice. July 20, 2022 I am a five year employee of UFirst Health, so when I discovered I had a ventral hernia, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted one of our two Dr.s to perform my surgery. Since both Dr.'s are very qualified to do the surgery (and I did not want to show favorites) I flipped a coin as to who would do mine.
