I can't express enough how greatful I am to U First Health and especially to Doctor Thomas for how They all helped me go through my Hernia repair surgery, with no pain and being treated so well by all the staff at the clinic. Today, I am 30 days post surgery, healing well and happy to have selected UFirst, Dr T. and his team. From the first contact to first visit, pre-op, surgery, post-op, follow-up. Every single encounter with everyone there was pleasant, everyone was professional. I always felt like I was the most important person in the room. Dr. ******************** did a skillful repair on my umbilical hernia which I had for 20 years after a pregnancy. It's been 2 years since my repair and I feel great and I am working out again. April 2022 while lifting some equipment parts I felt something in my groin area tear. The following week I was diagnosed with a right side inguinal hernia. The doctor suggested surgery and it was scheduled for a couple of weeks later. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing hernia surgery. It is clean, safe, very professionally run. They walk you through the whole procedure from pre to post op. Everyone is kind and compassionate. ***** was particularly helpful she even helped me navigate the best airport and route to take to the clinic. I am 54 years old and a little over 3 weeks into recovery from a double inguinal hernia repair. I traveled over ***** miles round trip to have this done and it was worth every *****. There was quite a bit of pain and swelling the first week and a half after surgery, but recovery is progressing nicely now. This procedure is not laparoscopic, but in a sense more classical or traditional. This approach requires you to be opened up in order to properly repair the breach in the abdominal wall.
