Dr Tomas and his staff are fantastic! After being injured in 2020, I felt an abdominal issue, but had several doctors and health care professionals give me mixed messages. Was it a hernia? The entire process of surgery at UFirst was a remarkable experience for me. I put off the surgery for three years, attempting to cure the hernia holistically, until I finally realized that I had to do it. I was terrified. I am so glad I found Dr. T. to repair my inguinal hernia. The staff was amazing. I had minimal swelling and bruising after the procedure and now almost 2 1/2 weeks later, I can tell I'm going to get my life back. So happy to have got this done in a way that doesn't leave foreign meshes in my body, but only uses my own tissue. I can't thank the staff and Dr. T. enough. If you want to go to the best, this is where you go!

First, I did a lot of research on the Desarda proceedure, All clinical trials I examined place the Desarda hernia repair above the Mesh and Shouldice techniqe in all areas. The Desarda lasts longer than all of them. To my knowledge, there are only two surgeons who perform the Desarda in the US and Dr T. at UFirst is the only one affirmed by Dr Desarda.
