Seamless service, I was very happy. The only fly in the ointment is; ********* List was not complete, there were options not on my original list. Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and left after one night as fast as we could. Horrible everything. My friend asked for a wine glass and was asked, " do you really need one"? I'm two weeks out from my Bilateral Inguinal Hernia's surgery and I'm feeling great. I just want to thank the staff at U-First ****** center for their professionalism, and the care they provide for their patients. After my Workmans Comp was denied, I knew I wanted to have the no-mesh surgery. I have no regrets flying to *************** ******* from ******* to have this surgery. Beware they will not accept Medicare Part B Insurance for the surgical fee. They say to pay the surgical fee in cash in advance and they imply that you can get reimbursed 80% of the surgical fee from Medicare Part B Insurance but you won't get reimbursed. Also beware that they imply that they are the only ones doing non-mesh hernia repair when there are other hernia clinics and there are other hernia surgeons that do non-mesh hernia repair and do take Medicare Part B Insurance for the surgery fee.<br /> <br /> <br />
I am 63 years old and have had a hernia for years. I have been skeptical of getting mesh and found U First health. I am so happy I did. I really believe this office is about the health of the individual and not about funding the medical supply companies by pushing mesh.After surgery, within a few hours I was walking close to a 1/4 mile, within 5 days I was walking around 4 miles. Im on week 2 of my umbilical hernia surgery. And I feel fantastic. Right from the beginning the dr and his staff were so attentive and willing to answer any questions I had. So I went into surgery with no worries. When I woke up after surgery. There was no pain. I was actually surprised it was done. I cant express how amazing the experience was. I will recommend this practice for anyone looking to fix any hernia issues.
Im a 65 year old and have never had surgery, I was terrified when I learned of my hernia. Wanting my quality of life to stay healthy and remain active I decided to have no mess hernia repair only because I would be in ******* for Christmas and the office was near my stay. I am currently 3 weeks post surgery and am doing great! My hernia condition was unsure of pre surgery but during post op, I was informed that I had indirect and direct hernia on both sides. Dr * and staff were/are fabulous to work with throughout such an experience and I would not recommend any other facility. Honesty and integrity is of great value and I got it all for an unbeatable value. I can eat food again ??!!!
