Because they care. I write this review for that very reason. From my first phone call to Nancy and her comforting explanation of exactly what the procedure would be and her kind understanding I knew this was the Doctor for me. I'm almost 4 weeks post-op for a direct inguinal hernia that I developed from coughing my guts out from Covid. This was new to me, but scary how fast it was growing so I had to act fast. I'm lucky to have found Dr.T. and the U First Health Center, I was able to get the surgery done the very next week! I'm totally satisfied with every aspect of the journey. I am generally a negative person and a procrastinator when it comes to medical issues and so I ignored my right inguinal hernia for years until it became impossible to ignore and very large. I knew I had to do something so I spent a lot of time researching this topic. Finding UFirst for my hernia surgery was truly a blessing. I had my surgery 6-18-2021. As of writing this review today, 6-30-2021, I'm in no pain or discomfort whatsoever. It's to the point now that when I wake up in the mornings or from napping, I totally forget that I even had the surgery. I was willing to travel out of the country to India to get the Desarda technique. However, when I found Dr. T., off to Ft. Meyers, FL from East Texas I went. 2 weeks post-op from 3 hernia repairs done during 1 surgery. Rating could be anywhere from 4 up to just about 5 - perfection lies in one place and there's always room for improvement; however, UFirst Health is about as close as it comes, so with no fractional options I stuck with the 5 stars! I came from out of town (3+ hour plane ride) and everything was about as straightforward as it could be. I traveled from N. Ca. To have my No Mess Surgery done by Doctor T. His staff more very professional from the time I made my appointment I arrived for preop interview and then the day of the surgery They may the whole thing very smooth and they were very professional. The surgery was a breeze. And I had very little pain or discomfort afterwards. It has now been 10 days I am healing up very well and feel very good.
