I am beyond frustrated with this company and will NEVER use them again. I cancelled my trip on May 5th and told it could take up to 30 days to refund. I felt like that was a long time but I tried to be understanding as everyone was canceling due to COVID. I reached out at about the 15 day mark to just check on the refund ( to the tune of over $1500) I was nice and just asked for an estimated date. I was given the same canned answer of “it’s taking longer than normal, blah, blah” At the 30 day mark I checked again and again w... read more

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your frustrations. Just as we communicated via email, your refund was issued within 45 days of your cancellation. That, quite frankly, under the circumstances (most businesses closed or with limited staff to address) was fairly reasonable time. Silver Dollar City's refund policy, had you booked directly, is 60 days for comparison. Thank you.

I tried to call tripster 4/25/20 to cancel our tickets for Wonder Works and Ripley's aquarium of the smokies. I was told I would receive my refund back on my original form of payment within 30 days. So I tried to be patient 30 days went by and still nothing. I understand the difficult time do to Covid that everyone is having. But everyone is having it not just tripster. They should plan better for this if it happens to be able to get people back there money within a reasonable time. I need my money just as much as anyone els... read more

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your frustrations. There has been many delays in the refund process due to COVID. I do show, however, that you were refunded in full on June 15th. Our cancellation and refund policy assures a refund and we have fulfilled that duty. It was unfortunate the time it took for all parties to complete the task.

Cancelled our family vacation on 4/1. Was told that it would be 5 to 30 days to see a refund. It has now been 2 1/2 months with still no refund. They did respond to an email on 5/12 stating that my info for the refund has been submitted. Another email sent 5/27 and 6/7 to no response. Unacceptable to wait so long for a refund.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your frustrations. We have provided updates and responses related to the delays in our receiving your monies back in order for us to refund you. That has now occurred and your monies have been refunded as of June 24. Please review your accounts and thank you for understanding this difficult time due to COVID.

Canceled my order on 3/07/2020, still to this day haven’t received a refund. I have messaged them three times regarding the status of my refund and get to status on when it will get refunded. A month ago the last email received by them indicated that my order would be done with urgency. And still nothing..

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your experience. Due to COVID-19, we have had many delays in the processes to retrieve monies and re-issue them on behalf of our customers. Our records to show that we did refund you on this order, in full, as promised, on June 10th. Thank you.

I cancelled my trip on 3/16/2020. I was told per, Brianna from Tripster, that I would receive my full refund within 30 days. I did not receive it. I emailed again on 4/21/2020 with Brianna and was told to please be patient that my refund was "being processed." I still have not received my refund. I emailed Brianna again on 6/1/2020 and have had no response as of 6/3/2020. I will be filing a claim against this company soon if my refund is not received. This is unacceptable.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your frustrations. We have been equally frustrated with the many delays and changes that have occurred as a result of COVID-19. That said, we continued to pursue and retrieve your refund, that was issued to you, in full, on June 8th. Thank you for your patience.

I cancelled my trip on 3/18 and have yet to see a refund regarding my trip in April. I tried to contact them through their website and still haven't heard from them. Two months later, I'm still waiting. It looks like Nathan W. contacted them later than I have and received their refund. Most of the responses by Tripster have been 4-6 weeks so now we are still waiting 10+ weeks later. I understand that it will take longer but every other complaint cancelled after we did and still received their payments.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Most of our theme park related bookings were taking 6-8 weeks, and in some cases longer, to return the funds back to us in order to then process the refund. We are sorry for the delays, but it appears you received a refund, in full, on 6/3.

If no stars was an option, I would choose that. I requested a refund for my order from Tripster for the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show on March 17th (well before the date for "free cancellation") and was told to expect my refund in 5-30 days. It is well past that time now, and they are no longer even responding to my emails. I don't know any company that takes even five days to refund a cancelled order. The other company I had to cancel with for our trip had the refund in my account in less than an hour. I would highly recom... read more

Business response:

Greetings. Thank you for sharing your concerns. As a result of COVID, and the very large amount of cancellations to manage, we were indeed delayed. However, I do show you received a full refund, as we guaranteed with our policies. Thank you for your patience.

I contacted them on March 20th for a refund regarding my trip the first part of April. I was told it would take between 5 and 30 business days to receive that. Following that window of time, I reached out again, and finally heard back that things were delayed, but that it should be coming. Fast forward almost another month, and still no refund. It has now been over 2 months. Over $5100 that I could really use during this time, and still waiting. I understand these are difficult times, but this is beyond acceptable. The only ... read more

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your frustrations regarding your refund. Due to COVID-19, it was taking considerably more time than normal to retrieve the monies paid to the venues on your behalf. Those monies have since been collected and your refund was issued, in full, on May 27th.

I paid $1200 for a San Diego Zoo/Lego Land trip and have not received the refund I was promised. It has been over a month. How do I get help to ensure my refund. I was within their refund policy guidelines.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Our policy ensures 100% refund on cancellation. As a result of COVID, refunds were indeed slower than normal, however, according to our records, you have now received a full refund of your order. Thank you for your patience.
