I cancelled in May when Disney cancelled my resort. First it was 60 days for a refund, then I was told it would be August 25th. It is now 9/19. I have yet to see a refund for the Disney tickets I purchased for just at $1300. Like others mentioned, I had to write a threatening email about BBB to get a response the first time for a given date of August 25th. I understand there is a pandemic and cancellatons are high, but if you’re going to give me a date to be refunded, please honor that or contact me and at least let me know ... read more

We do strive to meet everyone's expectations, however, as a reseller we do not control all aspects of how the monies get recollected and when the refund can be issued. We worked to meet the deadline, but missed it. The refund was issued, in full, without any penalties. And, to share a business note, we cannot change any circumstance based upon "threats to report to BBB." We appreciate you choosing Tripster and we are happy to have this resolved.

Same as others. We rented a hotel room and had to cancel. They kept promising it would be refunded. Never happened. It has now been 3 months and we are out $570.88. They are not responding at all now. All empty promises. If a hotel outsources your booking to tripster, find a different hotel. Worst experience ever. Starting to wonder if I will ever see the refund.

I have been incredibly patient, but my patience has worn thin. I began the cancellation process back on 4/18 at which point I was advised it would be refunded within 30 business days. Then I followed up 6/13 and most recently 7/23 where I was advised no later than August 26th. Today is August 30th, and still no money, no follow up saying they misquoted me, nothing. It has been over 90 business days, that is 3 times longer than the initial time frame quoted to me. It has also been 19 weeks, that is 7 weeks longer than the fig... read more

Tripster has done a SUPURB job and been very helpful with our rescheduling situations this year with the COVID crisis. No business is fully-prepared to handle what countless small and large business, corporations, etc. have had to handle - and during times like these, some credit - like years in business and past history - should apply. I'm very disappointed to see the bad reviews for this company over the past few months. We received more cancellations in a span of 90 days than we had in over 3 years combined. On top of the fact that our had to furlough literally our entire team until things opened back up. I have been using this company to book my trips for years. They have always been very help and completed everything in a timely fashion. Also 9 times out of 10 they have the cheapest prices! I will continue to use this company for years to come!

I am beyond frustrated with this company and will NEVER use them again. I cancelled my trip on May 5th and told it could take up to 30 days to refund. I felt like that was a long time but I tried to be understanding as everyone was canceling due to COVID. I reached out at about the 15 day mark to just check on the refund ( to the tune of over $1500) I was nice and just asked for an estimated date. Thank you for sharing your frustrations. Just as we communicated via email, your refund was issued within 45 days of your cancellation. That, quite frankly, under the circumstances (most businesses closed or with limited staff to address) was fairly reasonable time. Silver Dollar City's refund policy, had you booked directly, is 60 days for comparison. Thank you.

I tried to call tripster 4/25/20 to cancel our tickets for Wonder Works and Ripley's aquarium of the smokies. I was told I would receive my refund back on my original form of payment within 30 days. So I tried to be patient 30 days went by and still nothing. I understand the difficult time do to Covid that everyone is having. But everyone is having it not just tripster. They should plan better for this if it happens to be able to get people back there money within a reasonable time. I need my money just as much as anyone els... read more

Thank you for sharing your frustrations. There has been many delays in the refund process due to COVID. I do show, however, that you were refunded in full on June 15th. Our cancellation and refund policy assures a refund and we have fulfilled that duty. It was unfortunate the time it took for all parties to complete the task.

Cancelled our family vacation on 4/1. Was told that it would be 5 to 30 days to see a refund. It has now been 2 1/2 months with still no refund. They did respond to an email on 5/12 stating that my info for the refund has been submitted. Another email sent 5/27 and 6/7 to no response. Unacceptable to wait so long for a refund.
