Toyota of Seattle is a case study of terrible customer service. I documented my experience here. (Check out my twitter post for a link to the write-up of the experience) tl;dr, nobody is thinking about the customer first, nobody is empowered to help, they failed to fix things at every interaction. Additionally, they are just more expensive than others -- usually, you would justify that with the other services they provide (like the shuttle) both those are more of a liability because of their lack of reliability.

Zac, I understand the frustration with our shuttle service. I am unaware of what occurred to not have things fixed properly. I have looked over your service history and there has only ever been one concern you have come in with and that was for an aftermarket alarm system we did not install. Other than the shuttle I do not know who has not been helpful. I know your Advisor has already reached out to you, but I do want you to know I am looking into your issue from Saturday.

I have four Toyota dealers between work and TOS, but I drive the distance on my day off because of the excellent customer care by my Service Advisor, Jay Cross and every other employee that I run across. Even test drove a Prius Prime while I was waiting! Great treatment from the Sales Department as well!!

Very disappointed after this most recent servicing. When I brought my car in it was in good condition just needed an oil change and the car worked fine. Was there on Monday dropped it off and got the oil change and they also rotated tires and other basic checks done during this servicing. The rep came out and advised me my Brake fluid needed changing? Did it I don't know but being it was breaks I took his word for it and changed the fluid. Was told it was going to be $154 turned into $174 with taxes wrong info given he shoul... read more

Last Sunday my boyfriend and I walked in expecting to test drive some 4runners and price match at a few other dealers. We were greeted right away and sat down to talked about how the dealership works and what we are looking for. We worked with Travis King and he really is what made us not check out other dealers. He was helpful and knowledgeable and I felt like we were checking out cars with a friend not a salesman. Excellent car buying experience! I walked in and was greeted by Andrew who happily showed me the car I found on their website. We took a test drive and he was able to answer all my questions. When it came time to buy, he was very up front about the cost and did not push add-ons too hard. I had psyched myself up for a high pressure sales situation and was super happy that was not the case! I would highly recommend Toyota of Seattle to potential car buyers!

Always get great service from their service dept, BJ & Jay are great to work with. I stopped by Burien Toyota for a turn signal bulb, $14.95, but didn't have it. Swung by Seattle Toyota, under $2 and they popped it in for me, in & out under 10 min!

Very satisfied and Cody Livingston great customer service. I was even there less than an hour from check in to check out.
