Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Bartenders rocked there!!! Food was fantastic :-)
Great food , great service great price ! It is way over by tech though and always very busy . I suggest they build another in Lubbock .
It was good, tacos were good, but just the thing i didn't like was when, that guy that was cleaning the tables, i got up to get a refill on my drink, and i was coming back to my table,,he had already threw my chips and queso,,and was about to throw my taco away, until i grabbed it from him, he said he thought i already left, i didn't like that at all, but if it wasn't for that, i would've given ya a 5 star.
Smack dab in the middle of TTU town. Incredible margaritas & fresh delicious food. Great Service!
Was my first time being there had a great time and love the food had the chicken taco and the queso was very very good will go back first chance I get and the waiting staff was very friendly
