I generally don’t write reviews but having this horrible experience at Putnam Subaru I had no choice. This is the most unethical dealer and dishonest . I had an agreed deal and price and what do they do? They sell the car to someone else and didn’t inform me . Miguel Reyes should not represent any dealer. The manager who I spoke with the day prior as well as the sales person agreed to price and it’s beyond me how any person and dealer can operate and represent that they are a quality and honest dealer. If I could do negative 100 stars I would. Let’s put it out there I’m beyond angry and so is my husband. Did we get loud yes we did, did we swear when we left yes we did. This is the rude disgusting display of customer service I have ever encountered. The policy of service department is the customer is always wrong and must be trying for a freebie.I spent about 1800 there since November. On Saturday, August 28, 2021, I contacted Putnam Subaru Service Department to ask if I could make an appointment to have the air conditioner on my 2015 Subaru Forester looked at. I was told to bring it in and since I live in San Lorenzo, CA in the East Bay, I drove the car across the bay to Burlingame and dropped it off. False advertising! Stay away! They just lost me as a customer. I was a customer for 11 years & I had just bought a brand new 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness there. Every time I have brought in my 2011 Subaru Outback for service, they keep telling me the tires are at 4-5/32 tire tread, not requiring replacement under their old "tires for life" deal. It is obvious that the tires need replacement, but they keep refusing to change them. I rather walk away now & take my business elsewhere, instead of risking my kids' life driving... read more

I bought a brand new Outback from this dealership a and I live in a different county in Tennessee. Upon signing paperwork, I was told that when my new plate arrived I could go to my county’s clerk’s office to get sticker for the bottom of the license plate that represents the county that I live. There was no mention of me having to pay any more money. I paid the fees that were asked of me at the dealership for tax, tags, and title. Do NOT purchase a car from this dealer. The General Manager Mike Wilson is a scam artist along with salesman Nick. I had a car reserved while they were adding parts to it and they sold the car to someone else. They lied several times making up stories about computer glitches and calls they never made. The great salesperson I had been working with just magically disappeared. NO ethics!!!

Took my Crosstrek to Hendrick to have the Starlink and GPS updated. Made the appointment online and entered these two items as needing to be done. The service rep asked me what I needed done at the time of drop off. I told her Starlink and GPS updates. She said ok and I left the vehicle. She also told me I would get a complimentary car wash and the interior vacuumed. When I reviewed the bill at pickup it didn’t reflect the GPS update. STAY AWAY FROM STERLING KIA. I was looking to purchase as 50K Kia Carnival, but I would not agree to the dealer’s low ball offer on my trade-in.
