As we were leaving NC for a family emergency, both rear hatch lifts failed. Called to set up service & was very explicit about what was needed. Gave them VIN & other info. Monday AM we arrive & service department was clueless as to why we were there. Two hours to replace 8 bolts.
These people are terrific. I was treated like family. Thank you.
While on a road trip from Arizona to Michigan we were rear ended on July 10th in Indianapolis. We were directed to Tom Ford Subaru to have our vehicle checked out to be sure it was road worthy since we had a long trip ahead of us. We arrived at the dealership in the late afternoon and they were slammed. But given our situation they went above and beyond to see that our car got checked out. I would tell anybody that is looking to buy a new or used Subaru or a good used car to go to Tom Wood Subaru and ask to work with Jake Martin. Jake listened to what we wanted to look at and let us drive a wide variety of cars. He answered all my questions that I asked and offered suggestions based on our likes and dislikes. This was my first experience going to a dealership and buying a new car, and it was a great one! We were greeted by Greg and we told him about being interested in the Subaru Crosstrek and he happily gave us an overview of the mechanics and quickly got us on the road to try it out. He was very knowledgeable which made the process easier. I have to give a *HUGE* shout-out to Todd and Joe in the service department at Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis. I had an emergency issue with my car & when I explained what was happening, Todd had me bring in the car last night (at 7p!) and got me into a loaner car right away. Todd was scheduled off today so Joe picked up my issue this morning (including 2 calls to keep my updated) and my car was fixed in less than 24 hours. I can't recommend the service department enough!! :)
Tom Woods Subaru on 96th Street in Indianapolis is amazingly wonderful and all the people that work there are friendly and very nice!! Love going there for oil changes!! Wouldn't go any other place!!
We had a great experience with Greg! He was low-key and had an easy going personality. There was zero pressure from him to hurry up an buy a car like you might expect when visiting a dealership. He answered all of our questions and was helpful. Our process was quick and easy. Don't let the construction in the area deter you from checking their selection out. I am loving my new Subaru!
Joe Shanholz (service) was such a blessing! I was in the phone telling him what my clutch was doing as I was driving & he said “unfortunately that can disintegrate very quickly”. About that time I could no longer shift gears. I was close enough to my house to coast to my driveway! Joe got a tow truck out to me, when I got to dealership I had a loaner while I waited for my car to be repaired. I got my car back & it’s great! I will ask for Joe every time I need service.
