They charged me $450 (for a uncompleted site survey) after I told them I wouldn't sign the loan to get my panels installed.
Before the solar panels began running in March, the loan company had already debited my account. I called to express my concern, pointing out that my electricity bill for the month had been just $68, and yet my account had been charged for a solar system that wasnt even operational. I had my system installed 3 years ago. in May of this year my inverter turned off. I called and filed an issue with their warranty department and was told they would send a tech out that I didnt have to be home if there was an issue or any kind of major problem they would call or email me I never heard anything and checked on my solar system at the end of August. This the worse I got a ****wk system they charge me 53k at **** didnt tell me that **** would add a 30 % fee so panels are like ***** over 25 years average 223 a month . Then on top of my 100 to 159 bill a month . The rebate is based on tax liability and they said Id get a Duke ********************** rebate that would have helped the return on investment . Started out great getting solar installed. My system has been down for over a month now. I have now made four phone calls and have not heard a word from anyone!! Are they still operating or what is going on??
Worst customer service response I have ever had to endure. Starting with how I initially contracted them in February 2022 and was told my solar would be installed on my garage with battery backup system before the summer heat really started. They did their site survey of the garage fairly quickly then about June they came back out doing an unnecessary site survey of the house. This company is ridiculous for customer service. Once they have you installed, I guess you're on your own. I have been trying to reach them since September 22, today is September 27, 2023. I have called several times and waited for answer without results. On hold for hour. I have emailed them and DID get a response for my address. I sent it and next day got an email for my address again, still nothing yet. I have left 2 or 3 messages by phone and still no reply. Have not wanted to file paperwork so we can have roof fixed. if I could, I would give this company of zero stars because all we need them to do is file paperwork to our mortgage company so we can have them take our money and take the solar panels off the roof and yet we are still fighting for six months later.
