Received a text asking how I want to receive refinancing information from Loan Depot -- text, email or phone call. I wanted no information from them, so responded "STOP" to their text.Since then (12 days ago), Loan Depot has called me 42 TIMES. Voice mails telling me, "We have new information regarding your application," even though I NEVER submitted an application to Loan Depot.Thanks to their unethical practices, I will NEVER do business with Loan Depot, nor will I EVER recommend them.ONE star is far too many for those huc... read more

Predatory lending one can argue is what hooked and destroyed so many back in the real estate crisis of 2008-2009. I have done my due diligence with respect to loans and what the current interest rates are. ***************************** was my loan officer and really thinks the people he speaks to are uneducated and unprepared. Loan Depot is a ******** that lacks integrity. I work with them for 4 months getting all the documents and information they needed to close the loan. Went thru multiple Sr. ******** loan officers delaying the process constantly. They drive your credit score down and sell your information so your constantly getting unwanted solicitation. Worst experience of my life.... communication from both my loan officers was horrible. I was being hit on by one of the loan officers. I didn't get into my new home until the right before Christmas of 2020 when I was told that my closing would be November 17th of 2020. I was given not real explanation from the Loan Officers or the broker who the Loan Officer was working what the actual problem was.
