Initial selling was great and promised a smooth process. Now after 110 days we are still waiting to close. The initial estimate changed vastly. Initial checked and confirmed there is no Appraisal needed but as soon as the loan process started they said Appraisal is mandatory and changed us. The underwriters May it harder than buying a house for unnecessary things even when we were reducing payments. This whole process seems like a borderline scam. Will not recommend to anyone.

My credit card was charged for home inspection without my consent.Assigned loan officer *************************** was extremely rude and incompetent to work with; He did not know how to even interpret a simple pay stub.I tried to escalate and reach out to the assigned loan officer's ******** but still no luck. No one would respond to repeated emails and phone calls.Overall horrible and frustrating experience.. As there is no option for 0 stars have to give 1 star.

Pretty close to the worst service Ive ever experienced. You have encouraged me to complete my application, initiated a hard pull of my credit report, made me wait days to talk with someone on the phone, and then when I finally have someone to talk with they tell me that Loan Depot does not offer refinancing for manufactured homes. And this was revealed to me only after I directly asked about it - like it was never an important issue for LD. After several requests, Loan Depot refuses to make me off of their calls lists. I even verbally requested over the phone to a rep, and it was completely ignored.
