Had a microdiscectomy done on my L5, S1. Doctor Parks and his team was very thorough with explaining all options and possible outcomes of each outcome. They provided helpful material and videos of the procedure and got me setup for the procedure within 3 weeks of initial visit. Awesome, experienced team and followed up checking on my condition afterwards.
He had completed two fusion surgeries on me, neck and back. Both surgeries and recoveries went well
He made me fee like he cares very compassionate and he explained everything so I understand and referred me to the right Dr
On my first visit to Dr. Park’s office I met with his assistant who explained possible surgical procedures and ordered a targeted injection for pain and referred me for physical therapy. The injection was unsuccessful, and the physical therapist informed me to reschedule after my pain lessened significantly. However, I was never informed that the physical therapy was required before any surgery could be approved. Reviewed MRI's. Excellent explanations and referrals for physical therapy.
This is my second visit with Dr. Parks. The first visit he performed surgery on my back which corrected the problem that I was having. I would recommend him to family and friend.
Dr. Park is everything I’ve expected and hasn’t disappointed. He completed my neck surgery earlier this month (first surgery I’ve ever done) and his bedside manner is great. He spent more than enough time to discuss my condition with me (during each visit and in the hospital before the procedure), what to expect if I did or didn’t get the surgery, and my first follow up appointment was the same. This is my 3rd Physician in this practice. The reason for different Physician/ Surgeons, each one is specialized in an area of the body. I could not be happier with every Physician turned Surgeon on me, and they're dedicated PA's. This review is for Melissa Fontenot who is Dr Park's PA. I wasn't a bit worried about seeing the PA first instead of Dr Park. I look at it this way, if he trusts her enough to work side by side, I have no worries then. Nobody wants to go to the doctor, but my experience with Dr Park and TOC exceeded expectations. My appointment was on time, the staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Park spent all the time needed to explain my situation and answer questions. I believe my medical issue is resolved, but if not I won’t hesitate to schedule another visit.
