Had a microdiscectomy done on my L5, S1. Doctor Parks and his team was very thorough with explaining all options and possible outcomes of each outcome. They provided helpful material and videos of the procedure and got me setup for the procedure within 3 weeks of initial visit. Awesome, experienced team and followed up checking on my condition afterwards.
He had completed two fusion surgeries on me, neck and back. Both surgeries and recoveries went well

On my first visit to Dr. Park’s office I met with his assistant who explained possible surgical procedures and ordered a targeted injection for pain and referred me for physical therapy. The injection was unsuccessful, and the physical therapist informed me to reschedule after my pain lessened significantly. However, I was never informed that the physical therapy was required before any surgery could be approved.
