RecommendedI want to thank the staff at Thick Bikes with all of my heart. I took my late father's bike in to get it fixed and rideable in September. They were so kind and took wonderful care of it even putting in the comments about it being a sentimental fix. They let me pay them over time and were just amazing. I got the bike back today and I couldn't be happier. Thank you all so very much. I know my father would be so happy to know his bike can be enjoyed still thanks to you all.
They provide friendly fast repair service and have a great inventory of bikes and related gear.

Customizes bikes as well as builds from scratch.
Called in about a bike I’m selling...fully explained it as a mint $1500 new bike (Specialized Allez Sprint with 25 miles on it). They told me to bring it in. Drove 45 minutes expecting a lower than retail number since they are a business and have to make money, but after I stood there for 20 minutes while they were on the phone they offered me an embarrassingly low $200. The frame alone is worth that. No thanks, take advantage of someone else.
Went to find a solid bike for a short commute, knowing nearly nothing about bikes. Chris was informative and laid back. He helped me pick out a bike that fits me well, and he had great recommendations for accessories I inquired about. Great, friendly LBS, and thank goodness for the customer parking.
Went shopping down here for a Salsa Timberjack for my wife on a recommendation . They took their time with us and were very thorough through the whole setup for her. I was very pleased with the level of attention we received. I will definitely buy my next bike(s) there. Highly recommend. 5 stars
