I have always heard about the horror stories about timeshares from other people, but I never quite believed the horrible things timeshare salespeople do to others. This timeshare is the worst thing that could've happened to us. It is such a waste of money. The lies and deceptions during the presentation and tactics used to pressure us into buying have left us completely scarred for life. We are extremely displeased with our timeshare ownership with ****. We have spent over 10K and gone away 4 or less times and that was with RCI which cost even more money. We werent told the maintenance fee would increase with time. We were led to believe it would be $1000/2 yrs but by the time our first one came around it was $1400. We have found it is much cheaper to travel on our own than with a timeshare. **** Resorts fed me lies to get into my wallet! I am very passionate about traveling but it is something I can rarely afford. **** promised to make this easier for me, but instead made it more expensive and difficult! They reeled me in by offering me a free flight for my attendance at the presentation, but when I went to redeem the voucher, it was no longer valid. They lied about everything. They said my point will roll over every year what I don't use, they said they will buy back the timeshare if we chose not to have anymore without any loss, the interest rates went up to 13%, I got no customers support for years, the rental program takes more than 50% of profit, they continue to say they can't do nothing and I'm sorry, they take no responsibility in the promises they gave, Ive asked every question I can during the recorded signing of my contract to make sure I wasn't getting into a... read more
**** Resorts, now Marriott, is a waste of money! I have owned a timeshare with them since 2016. Never been able to use, not even once! Quite the opposite of what I was told in the presentation that lasted the whole day. Ive tried reaching out to the company for assistance with booking a vacation but no one was ever available. If I can give a negative star I would one is two many. **************** was terrible by *** and ******** manager was not only unhelpful she double down on the bad behavior of her workers in justifying them yelling at me and my wife for not wanting to upgrade. Also rooms are never available and they try to force you keep upgrading it's a scam.
