My wife and I went to a Welk presentation in Escondido in 2014. The presenter learned that I am a veteran and my wife, and I were both in school. She kept pushing the family narrative and made comments like, “How much would it mean to your children to have memories of amazing vacations”. Obviously, that would be fantastic, but we told the presenter that our finances and schedules would not allow for it. During the 4-hour presentation, we were sold on a dream. We were shown beautiful rooms and given false information. This me... read more

It's been 5 days since I made my reservation - the promise of an email confirmation still has not come after 3 phone calls. My credit card has been charged, I think this is a scam. Sounds like you are talking to people from oversea's, no way to email them (it bounces back).

During the meeting, the staff pushed us to listen to several lies and twisted the wording around to make ownership seem amazing. They also stated we could pass this to my children in the future but neglected to mention that the children would inherit the debt and yearly fees as well. We do not want our children to have to deal with debt upon our passing if you can understand that. Other issues we have are the staff lies over and over to get us to purchase more. They have told us that the prices were going to double and tripl... read more

Our opinion of **** Resorts is anything but a positive one. We have been owners since 2011 and have been able to use it one a few times and not one of those vacations were the luxury experience we were sold. We have invested thousands of dollars into **** but there is no concern when you try to complain or communicate with them. At the sales table they reiterated that we would have unlimited availability to exchange our time to travel to places such as Hawaii, ****** and *****. This all sounds good however we found out it is... read more

**** Resorts is nothing but a huge scam. The amount of money you have to pay, plus the maintenance fees and cleaning fees is not worth the product you are receiving. The customer service is absolutely abysmal from the very top, down to the bottom. Last experience my girlfriend and I had, our package was not ready by our check in time, but five hours later. In the meanwhile we had attend a **** owners update meeting which was not an update meeting at all, it was another arrogant, douchebag salesman trying to convince us into ... read more

We have been owners with **** Resorts since March of 2016; the sales representatives were ************************* and ***********************. They bribed us with three free tickets to *************************** ***** Stampede. In return, we give them 60 Minutes of our time. This seemed to be a fair trade. It turns out to them the statement No! only means adding more pressure and incentives to push the sale. During this presentation, they expressed many things that were completely false, like their vacation packages where... read more

My wife and I were invited to take part in a presentation to receive a free multi-night trip. We sat through a long, high-pressure sales presentation, and kept saying we did not want to buy. We stated over and over that we could not afford it, and the salesman kept coming back to us with more options, even urging us to put some of the down payment on a high-interest credit card. We were lied to about the "real estate" nature of the time share, and fed multiple lies about cost, affordability, and how it may be used. We were c... read more

Buying into **** was the worst mistake we have ever made!! We were owners at ****** ****** *******and was offered $200 to attend this meeting at ****. Once there, they told us that the new company that took over ***was trying to find another buyer and we would do well to get out of that timeshare any way we could and offered to take it as a trade-in to reduce the cost of a **** timeshare. Once we were home and I thoroughly reviewed the paperwork I realized that we would not be able to travel anywhere with **** because of the... read more

My husband and I took a free 2-night -3-day vacation, as long as we sat through a presentation. We agreed that we would take the trip, but we wouldnt be purchasing. This short presentation took 5 LONG HOURS of being pressured by multiple salespeople. Every time we said we couldnt afford it; they came back with more affordable options. They got us excited about the real estate investment they were offering by feeding us lie after lie until we purchased. A few months later I inquired with our accountant about the real estate b... read more
