I rented an apartment complex that was purchased by Avanue5. At renewal time they have chosen to raise the rental costs by 10% after only one year, and added over 100 dollars in unnecessary fees. This is happening whilst important repairs and improvements for utilities have gone fully unaddressed. I have reported leaking appliances months ago, with no news on their replacement. I have tried to contact Avenue 5 several times. Its impossible to get a response. I live in a complex that has declined to the point that safety is a concern. They no longer have security, and a drug dealer is open 24/7. The police are constantly on the property, theyre have been fights in the middle of the night and constant traffic. I havevl8ved here eleven years. Always paid my rent. I recently had an inspection and my apartment had no problems just all the amenities. I flunk my inspection because everyone else had multiple failures. And i had none. I flunk two times and is told to move out from housing. Very hard to deal with. Amount owed always changes. Do not return calls, messages etc.Accused of not giving notice of move out. I have a copy with their signature on the form.Did apartment inspection before I moved out. This was a horrible experience I applied for this apartment I gave them notice about my hearing that email is best for both of us. It took them 2weeks. No response in emails in timely manner only time they v will respond if I blow up the phone. Then the first excuse they gave me they have been to busy to aid me . Im regards to Avenue5s apartment complex The Veranda Highpoint: The senior manager at these apartments ******** Davis is the most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with. When I went to go pick up my keys me and a leasing agent went to look at the apartment and it was trashed. There was trash everywhere and the carpets needed replacing. NIGHTMARE! The person we dealt with had no idea how to listen and was incompetent. He would not listen long enough to even get the email correct thus we used another email account. The entire process was too long because he would send info to one email and then send other info to the 2nd email.
