I called to make a $200 payment on my account. I spoke with *****. She then charged my card $900. When I yelled "this was for supposed to be for $200!" she took that personally when in reality I was just shocked she took my rent money. She told me the task was done and there was nothing she could do. I started crying and she stated that it was the statement of my balance (so basically it is my fault). I moved into **** Apartments in April, 2022, at which time I documented on the move-in checklist the fact that I had an issue with insects. Since then I have gone to management FOUR times further reporting the insect issues. It has escalated to the extent of an insect invasion (mainly earwigs). Renter, be aware, very very aware. I lived at North Pointe for 10 years. I loved it there. I lived there through Covid and paid my rent every month. I moved out in November 2021 just after they changed management companies. I paid professional cleaners for a move out cleaning at great expense but was thinking I would get my deposit back so it was worth it. this apartment complex I lived in refused to keep my unit habitable and let me go the entire time I lived there with no working stove and onlyh two of the four burners working. If I could give no stars I would this company is the absolute worst mold refusing to remedy mold, stealing security deposits, lying, discrimination, deceitful and conniving individuals from the bottom all the way up to regional management. I was a resident there for 9 years and when it was under a different management the ***** everything was all good. This group recently took over the management of our property. Shortly after taking over, we went to use our AC which is not working. I am not really one to complain and I do not want to let any frustration conveyed through this message to distract or dilute from the facts. I applied at Avenue5 complex, *******************************************************************. I paid the application fees and a $200 deposit. Unfortunately, I was not approved and was denied. When speaking to the leasing agent I was told the deposit would be refunded in 2 weeks.
