DON'T EAT HERE – I don't think I've ever had a worse experience with restaurant management. I'd clearly explained to the nice waitress that I was vegetarian (and she got it because she herself was vegetarian), but found myself biting into a sandwich that had a fat slab of bacon in it. Not Socially Acceptable – My fiance and I ate there last fall. The Experience was average. I say this because although the decor ( clearly accomplished with minimum funding...Art store/BB & B/Target ) was very chic and upscale feeling, the concept of taking classics and turning them into tapas is nothing new. Honesty, do NOT go to Stanton Social... – So, I'm generally NOT picky about restaurants at all - put a nice drink and some decent food in front of me, and I'm a VERY happy girl. Great drinks! – Great drinks and good service. No line to get in, head straight upstairs to the bar for good times. I have been going to this place for a while and the crowd is always good with a great bar menu. Try the mac n cheese and sit back and enjoy!!!!
romantic dinner – This was where on went on my first date with my boyfriend, so of course I am going to like it here. I have been other times, but the most recent time was lovely. Nice service, beautiful bar. Kind of dull but great for a romantic quiet dinner. A very civilized place. I like that.
What I appreciated the most about The Stanton Social was that the food was delicious and advanced as expected, but the portion sizes were pretty substantial which made the prices seem more relevant. Of course, the service is exquisite and the ambiance is super swanky. Everything you'd expect. I ordered the famous oysters and it was amazing. So damn good. Definitely consider this for your next special occasion.
Great place!!!!! – Very unusual place with great food, decor and service. My wife and I choose Stanton Social to celebrate our anniversary on a Tuesday night . We didn't make a reservation but were seated right away. Everything we tasted was very good. We loved "share your meal" concept of this place. French onion Soup Dumplings and Kobe beef burger are a must! Black Magic cocktail was also very good ( if you like Guinness beer and champagne combination). Highly recommended!!!!
Stanton Unsocial – My friend booked a reservation at Stanton Social over a week and a half before we went, and the best time slot they could give us was 5pm. When we got there, the entire restaurant was empty! Some of our party was late because of torrential rain. The waiters were rude from the start telling us that we had to be out by 7. The best of food that's bad for you – The crowd is icky, the music is loud and some of the waiters are surly. But the menu is greasy goodness. Great mac n cheese, french onion soup dumplings, jalapeno cheese sliders...
