Snobby dumb witchy lounge hostess is toxic combo! – Arrived at 7:30 pm on weekend for a birthday with group intact to have dinner in lounge area. Wasn't nearly full and there was certainly room for my small group of seven, but we were made to wait 1 1/2 hours, even though it was not full. Told that we could choose to sit at one spot but would have to vacate in 45 minutes because the owner's wife or sister was coming and that was HER couch. I could eat the sliders by the dozen – Plain and simple: the Kobe Beef Sliders are life-changing. I just went last night for dinner and I think I may need to go again tonight. Ordered a couple things at the bar, great service with no attitude and strong drinks. Pink Grapefruit mint martini is awesome. And the donut holes with dipping sauces? Why didn't someone think of that sooner?
this place is ok – the pictures make the place look much bigger than it really is. kobe burgers were really good. french onion soup dumpling were really small. nice atmosphere playing generic loungy music.
Toilet Paper Please – Stanton Social = Overrated. While the kobe burgers were delicious, the bar was too crowded, the hostess incompetent and the service sterile, at best. Rather than receive bread before our meal, we received a bland bean spread on not-so glorified bagel bites. We didn't have to worry that the line to the only unisex bathroom on the floor was too long (and the bathroom without toilet paper), because the server still hadn't arrived by the time we managed to make it back to our table. Overrated but still good – Having read the good reviews, my girlfriend and I were excited about this place. We had an early reservation (7 p.m.) so we had no trouble being seated right away and we received our food promptly, so I didn't experience some of the issues other people complained about. I have heard of many great things of Stanton Social - so my friends & I decided to go. we were waiting for one person & the Host told us we weren't able to sit til the final person got there. Mind you, the place was EMPTY (this was about 6p)! instead of being seated, we had to sit at the bar (upstairs). great, great food but please lower the music – I had a great food experience. Fun, different and really good. But the music was so loud i couldn't hear a thing. The food is meant to be shared but you have to share in silence because it's impossible to have a conversation. We asked 3 times if it was possible to lower the music all 3 times we were ignored. Don't seat in the mezanine i guess...the speaker are right there...

delightful waitress – I was on a first date. Of course we were late and our reservation got lost. Because we were just two, we were given a table in the lounge in just 15 minutes--but it was tiny--i didn't think it woud work at all. I gave my waitress, Mae, alot of attitude (i was a jerk), but she was great. Mae assured us that she would work with the space and that we would have a blast.
