I went on the historical tour yesterday. I enjoyed the tour and found it informative. I do have one correction. The tour guide said heat wasn't put in until 1982. I got married in Jan. 1978. I had my reception at the Stanley and stayed the night there. So there must have been heat then.
Stayed in the new Aspire building. The rooms are very big. We had 2 king sized beds. One has a nice headboard the other had no headboard. Strange set-up but a very nice room. Huge balconies with lovely views. The phone didn’t work at all. The bad thing, shower had no hot water! 3 Women, 3 cold showers. When we checked out, and voiced our concerns, they stepped up and gave us breakfast as a gift. And, that breakfast was wonderful. Classy save Stanley! We took this tour on March 20th at 10 a.m. Sophie did an amazing job as our tour guide and if I went back, I would request to have her as our tour guide again! She was so wonderful and has great talent! Such a great experience!
Very friendly and helpful staff. I accidentally left a water jug and glove when I stayed with them so I called them to see if they could find it. They found it and mailed them to me. Rachel was especially helpful and personally made sure I received my glove. I will definitely stay at the Stanley hotel again.
Sophie is an amazing tour guide! Please keep her around for a long time. She has some true talent. We went on a tour with her yesterday at 10 am. I can’t say enough how great she was, almost giving us a theatrical performance of the entire history of your hotel. Simply Talented!
We went on both the historical tour and night spirits tours. The guides were friendly and made the tours fun. Beautiful hotel and property.
VERY good lunch in the restaurant there and will be going back soon!
First time in Colorado...my kids had to stay at this hotel!!! Wonderful staff, very friendly and very accommodating! We took the night spirit tour with Abby as our guide...LOVED her, she definitely made it a memorable time for us!!!!
