We only had a drink in the bar, but the hotel was lovely, and the staff was great. We'd stay here next time!

My fiancé and I took a long weekend trip in Boulder this past weekend. When I realized how close we were to The Stanley Hotel, I thought it would be a very nice day trip. The hotel is beautiful and who wouldn't want to visit the place where Stephen King got the inspiration for The Shining. We took our own personal tour of the hotel and grounds. We spent most of our time at the bar where the bartenders were absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back the next time we are in Colorado.

Took the night tour with the blond “sorority girl”. Abbey??Idk. We have taken many ghost tours across the country and have never been to a bad one until now. What a let down. Silly, want-to-be comedian who was annoying to the whole group. Handed out pencils for people to use as “divining rods”. Spoke so fast you could not understand what she said. Tour gave no history of hotel, only of her silly tours she has given. Nice girl but this is not her calling by any means. Waste of money and time. If it were free it would be a rip... read more

Very nice, with a great history! Don’t expect everything to be perfect, as it is a very old hotel, but we were pleased with the service and staff...will definitely go back again

We stayed at The Lodge, aka The Bachelor residence...and it was SPECTACULAR! The room was lovely, breakfast was included and so fresh down to the made from scratch Greek yogurt and granola. The staff was very helpful and best of all it was quieter than the main hotel. Make sure to do the evening haunted tour...so many ghosts, so little time!

My stay was really good! Obviously this hotel is stunning and in a great location! I loved all the character this place had. With that said, I do think the rooms could be cleaned better. When we arrived there was hair on the bathtub wall and dust all over the closelt mirror. I understand not wanting to update the room, but giving a good cleaning should be mandatory. Still had a great stay overall.

Nicest historic Hotel I’ve stayed at, world wide, hands down. Personable staff, gorgeous antiques, best Filet Mignon in the Rockies, and views to die for. It’s a must.
