Made a quick day trip to The Stanley....so much history! We did the tour and learned so much! Can't wait to go back and stay the night!!!
Amazing hotel and vintage. The view is beautiful
Fabulous views, wonderful onsite restaurant, and amazing history!!!
We stayed last night, beautiful hotel!! Room was small but that was ok, we stayed in the original lodge. Ghost tour though left a lot to be desired. When your going to go for the tour you want to get scared but our guide was very sarcastic and said this happen here and then said no no this did not happen. This happened everywhere we went on the tour. We just didn’t like that type of tour. We wanted the chills and the fun!
Not a fan. This place is under some terrible ownership and management, reflected in the many unforgiving flaws. Like others mentioning their respect for the antiquated facade and the historic value, I couldn’t get beyond the blatant disregard for upkeep, and the criminal juxtaposition of aged beauty, cheap crap, and tech. My sister, two nieces and I stayed in Room 217! Beautiful, period room. Spotlessly clean, large enough for two roll always. Fantastic experience! We did have a paranormal experience. We assume Mrs Wilson moved the chair to let us know who’s boss! Nothing frightening, just a jaw drop moment! Loved the Stanley. Put it on your bucket list!
Went there for my nieces 13th birthday. The staff was super friendly. They made her birthday very special. Went on the spirit tour and had an awesome time. Our tour guide was awesome!! Can’t wait to go back there and stay again.
We had an amazing experience at The Stanley, it was a “bucket list” trip and overall an awesome place. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the historic tour with Sophie, she was entertaining and knowledgeable. We had cocktails in the bar and Chris, our bartender was friendly and made a great Bloody Mary! While we didn’t get to eat in the dining room as it was booked until 8:30 pm and we were going to Aiden Sinclair’s show at 8, we did get room service instead and our steaks were delicious!
