Restaurant was delicious! Room was comfortable and we were able to check in early. Bartenders at the Whiskey bar could have been a little more helpful and friendly. Didn’t seem too knowledgeable of the different whiskeys. Very much enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel. We've been there many times before. We had dinner there last night for my birthday, and our anniversary. The lobster appetizer was incredible. Probably the best I've had. However, my filet mignon was burnt on the outside, bloody inside (ordered medium rare, not cold and bloody), and lacked flavor. The waiter was not very friendly. Wait was very long, even though we had reservations. Won't go there again for dinner, but a drink and lobster tail for sure! The associates at the front of the restaurant and barte... read more

Had a great experience, it's an old place with lots of traffic. If you want cookie cutter generic this is not the place for you...don't worry you can stay at one of the many basic places anywhere else. It's the Stanley Hotel, it's survived and you can still stay here. I will return, had a great experience.

Beautiful and historic hotel, well worth the price per night. If your looking for cheap and modern go somewhere else.

Brilliantly scary - the tour is exceptional!! I LOVED visiting the haunted room 217!! A must-see, this is the iconic room where Stephen King stayed when he was inspired to write his famous novel! Before you leave, make sure you have a "Lucky Lucy" cocktail at the Cascades Whiskey Bar, as well as getting a reading with the in-house resident psychic ..."Madame Vera"!!
