RecommendedSo impressed by the kindess of the front desk and the entire hotel staff. Arrived with no bags, not even a toothbrush and was gifted a handwritten note and t-shirt to sleep in!
We did Toys with Santa, usually held at the Buckhead location. Service was terrible booking the event. Decor and details lacked. Got half the food we got previous years. Were served with broken dishes. Had French fries under the table from a previous meal. Every year, and it is advertised this way, Santa brings the kids a toy. When we asked we were told that they were given to Toys for Tots. We asked again and were told that usually only given to babies, but if we really wanted one they could bring out a stuffed reindeer. I was an employee for the Ritz in the early 1990’s at the Buckhead property. No longer is the credo being recognize. The “decor” is apauling. Bye bye Ritz. Very sad experience for me.

This was our first time at a Ritz. Lobby is stunning but the rooms leave much to be desired. Old and way outdated. I have stayed at way nicer hotels that weren’t the Ritz. Staff were very nice but there is only one very small coffee shop downstairs and the amenities just weren’t there. If I came back to Atlanta, I honestly wouldn’t pick the Ritz to stay at.
