The Pointe has great community events, flexible accomodations, convenient travel to UCF, and a staff that cares. Its a great place to be!
I do not recommend living here. The wi-fi is mediocre, the cell phone service is terrible, especially in the bedrooms, it's loud, the walls are thin, the appliances are cheap, the staff are unhelpful and unsympathetic to issues. I have lived here almost two years now and it has not been enjoyable. The only reason why I moved in here is because I had friends here. I definitely should have done my research first. Things are constantly broken. The internet provider is the worst I've ever had. The management is not receptive to problems until they are threatened. You really get what you pay for. Side note: they have a rewards program that gives residents points towards gift cards to leave good reviews, so they're not unsolicited reviews. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!
Things that I like about living here: Basketball! The guys I play with I've met on the court and we've become cool. Games here are competitive and really hard-pressed and there's always a pick up game happening everyday.
Terrible place to live. The pointe did not do anything about my roommate problems all year. My roommate tried moving her girlfriend into our apartment after us telling her no in December and got mad because we caught her and she started being horrible to all the roommates and disrepectful. The pointe told us that they had to talk to their lawyers to be able to say she couldnt have this guest over anymore because it would be an issue of the fact that our roommate was gay. It is a nice place but they lack communication, they will change something and not let you know until its to late...But overall its pretty good.
