RecommendedThe apartments themselves are nice for student housing. The pricing is reasonable for what you get (a little pricier than neighboring apartment complexes because you get your own bathroom, but still cheaper than living downtown). If you are okay with living a decent distance from campus and having to spend a good amount of time commuting in the day, The Pointe is a good option. This is my second semester living at The Pointe. My roommates & I renewed for the next year because they gave us great deals & gift cards with the renewal! I’ve liked living here, the staff are great at doing little events during the week to make The Pointe feel more like a community. I love having my own bathroom & the community center is a great place to workout/study. Despite our apartment being pretty dirty when we moved it, we were able to make it our own. I would definitely recommend!
Living in a 3x3, the best part is that I have my own bathroom. It’s nice not to have to share one with three other people. Additionally the staff here is so sweet, and they’ve always good free food on Wednesday and Fridays. Those are great pick me ups.
My daughter lived there a year while attending Penn State. She loved having here own room along with her own bathroom. The staff there are very friendly and plan events for the residents. The Pointe was very clean and quite each time I visited. As a parent, I feel that it is a safe place to live. Would definitely recommend The Pointe as a place for students to stay.
The office hosts a lot of events. The staff is always helpful, and maintenance is very fast at getting things done. I have a dog, and the complex has a lot of green space to walk and play with him. An overall great place.
the weekly food events are nice
I've been living at The Pointe since August and my roommates and I have all renewed our lease. When we first moved in, there were some issues with the apartment not being clean because of the people that lived there before us but once we got settled in, all was well. I love having my own bathroom and being able to have my own privacy. It is away from the chaos of downtown/ campus but thanks to the bus, it is easy to get on campus when necessary.
Pet friendly! I have a lot of space for what I pay and the pool is great in the summer :)
