The hippest place in Baltimore to see an alternative rock band is this scruffy, but chic, midtown establishment. The bar itself is very small, so many patrons stand or sit in front of the tiny stage, or wander around the multi-colored second and third floors. The bands are either unsigned locals or independent-label acts. All play loud and fast.

Awesome and inclusive space. Actively advocates for lgbtq and people of color.
I’ve been coming to Ottobar for over 10 years and it’s always been great. Kudos to them for taking a hard stance against TERFs
forcing two women out while enjoying themselves is not the way to get rates for good service! someone said trans friendly? ha! gotta be lesbian friendly too...horrible. just horrible.
awesome events, correct treatment of reactionary transphobes and respects safety of its patrons and employees ❤️🌟❤️
Ottobar is an excellent venue with friendly staff
This place is great!!! Super welcoming and safe!
this place is les-phobic and not a safe space for lesbians.. as a matter of fact if you are a lesbian you can expect the bar staff to man handle and intimidate you until you leave.
The Ottobar has a 4.5 star rating with 2,710 reviews.
The Ottobar is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
